I found Frank's through Google, saw the pics and read a few reviews. Usually, while in Houston, we do brunch spots but wanted a good diner on this visit. It was great. The servings were enough to be split and the waitress Derica was sweet and attentive with a sense of humor. We will definitely be back.
What an amazing breakfast spot! Atmosphere is great and chill. Plenty of parking. Service great and the food is perfect. We got Chicken and Waffle, Heuvos Rancheros (so good), and the Breakfast Special. I'm putting this in my favorites list!
I have always heard about this place, but was never in the area to visit. One day, I was was out early running errands and decided to check this place out. I wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious!! The portion size enough for a meal later. The staff was friendly and professional. It was easy to place my order and my food arrived quickly. I will be back to visit.
We had a fantastic lunch at Frank's just now! Chopped steak and CFS, amazing mashed potatoes, and the loveliest sweet cornbread made in a Waffle iron. 100% yes for the food, it was all soooooo good. The only thing better was the friendly and attentive service, as we never had to ask for anything, but never felt like we were being rushed or hovered over. We can't wait to come back and try breakfast!

This was a great brunch places found. Was just driving down westhiemer saw and decided let's try it. The staff was great and the food was even more great.
It's an diner that sells comfort foods. And that brings out the charm. Over the course of the 6 yrs since the last review the place has been renovated, updated and faces changed. But the one thing that stayed the same is the food. Its still comfortable and tasty.
Counter service, table service and to go are all available. Order ahead on weekends it's busy. Employees are busy but friendly. I got the big breakfast plate: 1 sausage 2 bacon strips 2 eggs hashbrowns and a 1/2 waffle . Everything was cooked perfectly but I was amazed at the total lack of flavor. Eggs and hashbrowns had 0 flavor. Places like this are the reason I carry a bottle of seasoning with me everywhere I go.
